Scope note: “Kellogg’s” is used as shorthand for the corporate lineage Kellogg Company → Kellanova (snacks) / WK Kellogg Co (cereal), following the October 2023 split.1 Mars completed its acquisition of Kellanova on 11 December 2025, when Kellanova’s brands, assets and operations joined Mars Snacking; Ferrero completed its acquisition of WK Kellogg Co on 26 September 2025, making WK Kellogg a wholly owned subsidiary.2, 3 Earlier reporting on the subsequent Mars and Ferrero transactions is retained as secondary context.4, 5, 6

Enterprise Technology Stack & Vendor Relationships

Legacy Kellogg public materials identify AWS hosting and processing for SAP HANA and trade-promotion-management workloads, including sales and trade-promotion analytics.7, 8, 9 SAP HANA was described as an enterprise data platform, and an Australian SAP upgrade was reported as part of a global project.9, 10 The AWS/SAP material is retained as corroborative background rather than primary evidence of a current post-acquisition deployment.7, 8, 9

Kellogg also reported xMatters automated alerting and incident response integrated with ServiceNow and ScienceLogic, with an 80% reduction in mean time to resolution reported in the vendor case study.11, 12 The cited legacy stack elements - AWS, SAP, xMatters, ServiceNow and ScienceLogic - are not Israeli-origin vendors.11, 12, 7, 8, 9 Kellanova and WK Kellogg disclosed cybersecurity governance and risk-management practices in their relevant annual-report materials without identifying Israeli technology vendors.13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19

Kellogg/Kellanova brands are listed by Diplomat Israel as a vendor/distribution relationship, and Diplomat describes a corporate history of more than 50 years.27, 28, 29 The reviewed material establishes commercial consumer-product distribution rather than a digital or technology supply-chain relationship; it does not substantiate an Israeli defence customer, a settlement deployment or a digital-service component for Kellogg products.27, 28, 29 The IDF-adjacent Diplomat material located concerned post-7 October 2023 donation and relief logistics rather than a commercial technology or defence-sector IT relationship.29

Kellanova’s 2024 merger proxy identified it as a Delaware corporation and described a portfolio including Pringles, Cheez-It, Pop-Tarts, RXBAR, Eggo, MorningStar Farms, Special K and Coco Pops; the merger structure contemplated Kellanova becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Mars’s acquisition vehicle.30 WK Kellogg’s FY2024 report states that Kellanova provided specified transition services - including IT, procurement, distribution, logistics, R&D, accounting, finance, compliance and administration - through an agreement scheduled to end on 2 October 2025; it does not identify an Israeli vendor, Israeli location, Israeli state entity or Israel-based data handling in connection with those services.14, 18

Mars and Jerusalem Venture Partners publicly confirmed a historical research-and-development agreement in Israel on 15 May 2019.25, 23 The stated purpose was food, agriculture, wellness, nutrition, sustainability and personalised-nutrition innovation.25, 23 Mars stated that it would support Israeli start-ups and company formation and work with Hebrew University, the Weizmann Institute, Technion, MIGAL and Tel Hai College; Mars Edge and the Mars Advanced Research Institute were named as Mars participants.25, 23 JVP situated the arrangement within its Foodtech initiative for Israel’s Upper Galilee, and the Israeli Ministry of Finance’s September 2019 newsletter described an R&D centre intended to scale and commercialise food-system technology solutions and provide funding to Israeli start-ups.25, 26 Contemporaneous reporting stated that Mars Edge had met Israeli food/nutrition start-ups and Weizmann representatives before the JVP partnership.23

Ferrero’s official Israel page states that Ferrero established Israeli operations through distributor Premium Confectionery & Trading Company Ltd in 2016 and maintains an office in Holon; the page describes consumer-product distribution and an office, not a software, cloud, cyber, AI, surveillance, R&D, accelerator or technology-investment relationship.31 A January 2023 Cybertech Tel Aviv agenda lists Ferrero’s Global Head of Cyber Defense as a speaker, which establishes conference participation only and does not establish an Israeli vendor relationship, procurement, operation or deployment to WK Kellogg.32 no public evidence identified that Ferrero’s Israeli distributor/office relationship, or another Ferrero Israeli technology relationship, was deployed in, transferred to or otherwise applied to WK Kellogg.3, 31, 32

No public evidence identified of a Kellogg, Kellanova or WK Kellogg Israeli R&D centre, engineering office, innovation lab, accelerator, acquisition of an Israeli technology company, or material patent, licensing or co-development arrangement with Technion, Hebrew University or the Weizmann Institute.13, 14, 15, 18, 19 The “Crown Family Israel Center for Innovation” belongs to Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, rather than Kellogg Company, Kellanova or WK Kellogg; it is a name collision rather than a corporate link.1

Civil Society Scrutiny & Regulatory History

Kellogg’s, Kellanova and WK Kellogg are not named in the 30 June 2023 OHCHR update of the database of business enterprises involved in activities related to Israeli settlements; this is a document-scoped finding.33, 34 Kellogg’s, Kellanova and WK Kellogg are likewise not named in the locally checked full text of UN Special Rapporteur report A/HRC/59/23; the conclusion is document-scoped, and secondary reporting on that report also does not identify them among the companies discussed.35, 36, 37
