Digital Audit - Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG

Domain: Digital / Technology Entity scope: Porsche AG and its own subsidiaries (Porsche Digital GmbH, Porsche Ventures). Volkswagen Group, CARIAD SE, and Porsche SE are attributed at parent/holding level. Vendor-domicile rule applied; each Israeli investment is attributed to the specific Porsche entity that made it. Compiled: 2026-06-20 Method: Live web search only

Enterprise Technology Stack & Vendor Relationships

Porsche AG operates a multi-entity technology infrastructure. The enterprise IT entity Porsche Informatik GmbH (an Austrian VW Group subsidiary serving Porsche AG and other Group brands) has standardised its cloud analytics on Microsoft Azure,1 and deployed Elastic on Azure Private Link,2 Cloudflare,3 Datadog,4 Red Hat OpenShift,5 and Veeam.6 None of these vendors are Israeli-domiciled.

Porsche Digital GmbH, the wholly-owned Porsche AG digital-innovation subsidiary, has maintained a physical scouting office in Tel Aviv since 2018 for technology scouting and venture co-ordination with Israeli startups; CEO Mattias Ulbrich stated the company sought Israeli technologies “for integration both into its vehicles and into its enterprise systems.”78 No public evidence was identified of Porsche AG contracting Israeli-domiciled enterprise software vendors (CRM, ERP, HR) for its core stack.

Surveillance, Biometrics & Retail Technology

No public evidence was identified of Porsche AG deploying Israeli-domiciled surveillance, facial-recognition, biometric, or retail-analytics technology in its own facilities or retail network.

Anagog (Tel Aviv, founded 2010) is an Israeli AI company developing on-device behavioural analytics - smartphone-sensor analysis of a user’s mobility context (walking, approaching a vehicle, parking). Porsche Digital GmbH acquired a minority equity stake in Anagog in April 2018, for personalised contextual services including intelligent parking; Anagog processes data on-device rather than in the cloud.91011 The investment was made by Porsche Digital GmbH, not Porsche Ventures or Porsche SE.

Cloud Infrastructure, Data Residency & Sovereign Cloud Participation

Porsche AG’s cloud infrastructure is anchored on US and European hyperscalers (Microsoft Azure, above). No public evidence was identified of Porsche AG using Israeli-domiciled cloud infrastructure, Israeli sovereign-cloud products, or participating in Israeli government cloud frameworks.

Defence, Intelligence & Security Sector Technology Relationships

Valence Security (Tel Aviv, Israeli-domiciled) develops SaaS security-posture management. Porsche Ventures - Porsche AG’s corporate venture arm - participated in Valence’s $25 million Series A (October 2022, led by Microsoft M12, with YL Ventures, Akamai, and Alumni Ventures), described as Porsche Ventures’ sixth direct investment in an Israeli startup.121314 Valence is civilian-facing enterprise cybersecurity with no identified defence or intelligence-sector connections.

No public evidence was identified linking Porsche AG or Porsche Ventures to Israeli defence, military-intelligence, or Unit 8200-affiliated cybersecurity vendors (Argus/PlaxidityX, Karamba, Upstream, C2A) as investor or contracting party. Argus Cyber Security (acquired by Continental AG in 2017) is not a Porsche AG vendor relationship in public sources; Continental is an independent tier-1 supplier.15

AI, Algorithmic & Autonomous Systems

Mobileye (founded Israel; Jerusalem operational HQ; Delaware-incorporated; majority-owned by Intel; NASDAQ: MBLY): Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG announced a formal collaboration with Mobileye in May 2023 to integrate the Mobileye SuperVision platform (eleven cameras, radar fusion, high-resolution maps, EyeQ®6 SoC; L2+ hands-off driving) into future production models; no launch models or financial terms were disclosed.161718 Mobileye is legally Delaware-incorporated, but its operational HQ, primary R&D campus (Har Hotzvim, Jerusalem), founding, and dominant workforce are Israeli - so this relationship is flagged as substantively Israeli in character.1920

TriEye (Israeli-domiciled; Jerusalem; Hebrew University nano-photonics spin-out) develops short-wave infrared (SWIR) sensor technology for ADAS. Porsche Ventures acquired a minority stake in TriEye’s Series A (led by Intel Capital and Grove Ventures) in August 2019, investing ~$2 million of a ~$19 million round.212223

Tactile Mobility (Israeli-domiciled, Haifa, founded 2012) develops virtual-sensing software deriving tactile road-surface data from existing vehicle sensors. Porsche AG invested in its ~$9 million round in October 2019 and committed to series-production integration (announced May 2020);2425 Porsche Ventures subsequently co-invested in Tactile Mobility’s $27 million Series C in October 2021 (alongside Goodyear Ventures, lead investor Delek Motors).26

Griiip (Israeli-domiciled, Petah Tikva, founded 2015) is a motorsport cloud-data platform (RAMP). Porsche Ventures took a minority stake in July 2021; the use case is fan engagement and digital media rather than vehicle AI/ADAS.2728

Innoviz Technologies (Israeli-domiciled, Tel Aviv) holds a LiDAR supply agreement with CARIAD SE (VW Group’s software company) for the VW ID. Buzz AD shuttle fleet.29 CARIAD is a VW Group entity; Porsche AG is a legally separate brand. No direct Porsche AG / Porsche Ventures contract or investment with Innoviz was identified - noted as parent-group (CARIAD/VW) context, not attributed to Porsche AG.

Technology Ecosystem & R&D Footprint

Porsche Digital GmbH has operated a Tel Aviv scouting office continuously since 2018; in November 2022, Porsche Digital and Porsche Ventures intensified the Tel Aviv presence, expanding into cybersecurity scouting and hiring Israeli cybersecurity specialists.3031

Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG made an eight-figure-euro investment into two Israeli VC funds - Magma Venture Partners ($600 million AUM; AI/automotive; an early Waze backer) and Grove Ventures ($100 million AUM; IoT/Cloud/AI) - establishing its Tel Aviv innovation office; Deputy Chairman Lutz Meschke cited Tel Aviv as an “innovation centre.”323334 This LP investment is attributed to Porsche AG directly, not Porsche SE.

Porsche Ventures maintains a permanent Tel Aviv office (alongside Luxembourg, Berlin, Palo Alto, Shanghai) and had confirmed at least six direct Israeli startup investments as of late 2022.3536 No public evidence was identified of Porsche Ventures investing in Hailo, Cognata, or Arbe Robotics; individual personnel links exist (ex-Porsche Digital CEO Thilo Koslowski and an ex-Porsche LMP director joined Arbe’s board), but these are individual transitions, not corporate relationships.37

Civil Society Scrutiny & Regulatory History

No public evidence was identified of civil society organisations, BDS bodies, NGOs, or regulators specifically targeting Porsche AG’s Israeli technology investments or vendor relationships on human-rights or conflict-related grounds as of June 2026. Porsche AG publishes a Business and Human Rights framework;38 no public evidence was identified that it addresses the implications of Porsche Ventures’ Israeli portfolio or Porsche Digital’s Tel Aviv operations in the conflict context.

Cognata (Israeli AV-simulation company) has a publicly documented contract with the IDF and Israeli Ministry of Defense to test autonomous military vehicles;39 no public evidence was identified of any Porsche AG or Porsche Ventures investment in or vendor relationship with Cognata.
