Economic Audit - Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG

Domain: Economic (Economic) Entity scope: Porsche AG and its own subsidiaries / Porsche Ventures. Volkswagen Group and Porsche SE (holding) are attributed at parent/holding level. The Israeli vehicle importer is treated as third-party importer context. Compiled: 2026-06-20 Method: Live web search only

Supply Chain & Sourcing Relationships

No public evidence has been identified of Porsche AG sourcing physical vehicle components (metals, electronics, chassis parts, upholstery, or battery cells) from Israeli manufacturers; Porsche AG’s published supply-chain disclosures reference European, East Asian, and North American suppliers, with no Israeli entity named.1

Porsche AG does maintain technology-sourcing relationships with Israeli software and sensor companies. A May 2023 collaboration with Mobileye (Israeli-founded, Jerusalem-headquartered, NASDAQ-listed, Intel-majority-owned) commits Porsche to integrating Mobileye’s SuperVision platform into future series-production vehicles - a confirmed downstream technology-sourcing tie to an Israeli company.2 Porsche AG also partnered with Haifa-based Tactile Mobility (minority stake, October 2019) to integrate road-tactile sensing software into future models.3 No public confirmation of completed series-production integration has been found for either.

Product Origin, Labeling & Regulatory Compliance

Porsche AG manufactures its vehicles in Germany (Zuffenhausen, Leipzig) and Slovakia (Cayenne, at a VW Group plant in Bratislava). No public evidence has been identified of any Porsche vehicle or component manufactured, assembled, or finished in Israel or Israeli-controlled territories, nor of any labeling dispute or regulatory proceeding relating to Israeli or occupied-territory goods.

Investment, Capital & Financial Exposure

This is the primary evidence-bearing section: Porsche AG’s own direct equity investments in Israeli companies and funds.

Israeli VC fund investments (2017). Porsche AG invested an eight-figure euro sum across two Israel-domiciled VC funds - Magma Venture Partners ($600 million AUM) and Grove Ventures ($100 million AUM) - both deploying predominantly into Israeli startups.4

Direct equity stakes in Israeli startups. As of November 2022, Porsche Ventures - Porsche AG’s corporate-venture arm - had made at least six direct equity investments in Israeli companies.5 Publicly confirmed:

  1. Anagog (Tel Aviv) - AI mobility-behaviour analytics; minority stake, April 2018 (via Porsche Digital GmbH).6
  2. TriEye (Jerusalem) - SWIR sensors for ADAS; minority stake in a Series A co-led by Intel Capital and Grove Ventures, August 2019 (Porsche Ventures).7
  3. Tactile Mobility (Haifa) - road-surface tactile sensing; minority stake, October 2019 (Porsche AG), with a 2021 Series C reinvestment (Porsche Ventures).8
  4. Valence Security (Tel Aviv) - SaaS security posture management; $25 million Series A participation, October 2022 - Porsche Ventures’ sixth Israeli direct investment.9

Two further direct investments are referenced in aggregate but not individually named in public sources. Individual stake amounts are not disclosed; Porsche Ventures’ global venture budget was raised by €150 million in 2018.10

Porsche Digital Israel Ltd. Porsche AG is the sole registered shareholder of Porsche Digital Israel Ltd., a wholly-owned Israeli limited company (company no. 516615051, Tel Aviv–Yafo), which filed an annual report in December 2024 and a directors update in May 2026, confirming it remains active.11 This is a direct, wholly-owned corporate presence on Israeli soil, creating ongoing capital exposure through the subsidiary balance sheet.

Operational Presence & Market Activity

Porsche Digital Israel Ltd. / Tel Aviv innovation office. Porsche AG established a Tel Aviv innovation office in February 2017 (initially at Mindspace, Rothschild Boulevard), formalised as Porsche Digital Israel Ltd. in 2018, and expanded the team with cybersecurity specialists by November 2022.125 It functions as a technology-scouting and venture-deployment hub within the Israeli tech ecosystem.

Retail / distribution. Porsche vehicles are sold in Israel through Porsche OSC Israel (Orchid Sports Cars), the official Porsche importer, with showrooms in Herzliya Pituach and Hod HaSharon.13 Public sources indicate OSC is an independent importer, not an equity subsidiary of Porsche AG; its revenue and market activity are recorded as third-party importer context, noted for completeness. Porsche’s official portal (finder.porsche.com/il) serves the Israeli market.14

Mobileye collaboration. The May 2023 SuperVision agreement constitutes an active, commercially material operational tie to an Israeli technology company, with revenue flowing to Mobileye (Israeli HQ) as the supplier relationship moves toward series production.2

Corporate Structure & Foundational Ties

Porsche Digital Israel Ltd. is a 100%-owned subsidiary of Porsche AG per Israeli registry data - a direct parent–subsidiary relationship between Porsche AG and an Israel-registered legal entity.11 Porsche Ventures deploys capital from Porsche AG’s balance sheet; its Israeli fund and startup stakes are therefore Porsche AG corporate assets, not a separate holding company’s.5

Scope clarification. Porsche SE (the family holding company controlling Volkswagen AG, the majority shareholder of Porsche AG) and Volkswagen Group’s Israeli activities (Champion Motors as VW/Audi/SEAT/ŠKODA importer; MAN Truck & Bus chassis documented by Who Profits; the 2018 VW–Mobileye–Champion Motors ride-hailing MOU) are recorded as parent-group (Porsche SE / Volkswagen) context and attributed accordingly, not to Porsche AG.1516

Profit Repatriation & Economic Contribution

As a wholly-owned subsidiary, any profits of Porsche Digital Israel Ltd. flow upward to Porsche AG and are consolidated into group accounts; subsidiary-level figures are not separately published. No public evidence of royalty, licensing, or franchise-fee arrangements between Porsche AG and the independent importer (Porsche OSC Israel) was identified beyond the margin embedded in transfer prices, which is not publicly quantified for the Israeli market. Porsche AG’s 2017 Magma/Grove fund commitment entitles it to carry distributions on portfolio exits, none of which are publicly disclosed. Once Mobileye SuperVision integration reaches series production, Porsche AG will make per-unit or licensing payments to Mobileye’s Israeli operations - an ongoing revenue stream for an Israeli-headquartered entity, not yet publicly quantified.
