F110-GE-129 IDIQ Contract for FMS Customers

GE Aerospace was awarded an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract from the US Air Force on 14 March 2025, valued at up to $5 billion, covering F110-GE-129 engines for Foreign Military Sales customers including Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Bulgaria across a five-year period of performance through December 2030 141516. The official announcement does not name Israel as a customer under this specific IDIQ contract, though Israel operates F110-powered F-16 and F-15 aircraft through FMS channels 1415.

T700 Family (Combat Helicopter Engines)

The T700 engine family - including variants T700-GE-701C, T700-GE-701D, and T-700-GE-401C - is a purpose-built military turboshaft line powering the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter and the UH-60/SH-60 Black Hawk/Seahawk utility helicopter family 2013. It forms part of the CODOG propulsion system of Israel’s three Sa’ar 5-class corvettes (INS Eilat, INS Lahav, INS Hanit) 22. The Sa’ar 6-class corvettes, by contrast, use only MTU diesel propulsion and involve no GE components 23.

Civilian Energy Turbines (Civil/Military Distinction)

Wind Turbines in Occupied Golan Heights

Emek Habacha wind farm: Located in the northern Golan Heights, this project comprises GE 5.3-158 Cypress turbines (5.3 MW each), with Who Profits documenting 34 turbines and AFSC documenting 30 at the site 192026. Ruach Beresheet (Genesis Wind) wind farm: Located in the Tel el Farass area of the southeastern Golan Heights, this project comprises 39 GE 5.3-158 Cypress turbines with a total installed capacity of approximately 207 MW 192726. The first turbines were energised in June 2023, with 34 subsequently connected to the Israeli national grid 27. GE holds a 20-year operation and maintenance agreement with project operator Enlight Renewable Energy, signed in 2021, and was contractually responsible for production, supply, transportation, hoisting, installation, and commissioning of the turbines 192725.

Settlement linkages: The Ruach Beresheet project was developed in partnership with illegal Israeli settlements including Yonatan, Alonei HaBashan, Ramat Magshimim, Mevo Hama, Natur, Kanaf, Avnei Eitan, and Ma’ale Gamla, which collectively hold a 10% equity stake in the project 27. The Syrian Golan Heights is occupied territory under multiple UN resolutions; Israeli sovereignty over it is not recognised under international law 2528.

Elbit Systems - CH-53K Upgrade (2026)

Elbit Systems was awarded a $130 million contract to integrate Israeli command-and-control, avionics, electronic warfare, and countermeasure systems onto Israel’s future CH-53K airframes 29. No direct contractual relationship between GE and Elbit Systems was identified in connection with this upgrade; GE’s role remains that of engine manufacturer embedded in the Sikorsky/Lockheed Martin airframe 29.

KC-46 Tanker (No GE Role Identified)

GE LM2500 gas turbines form part of the CODOG propulsion system of Israel’s three Sa’ar 5-class corvettes - INS Eilat, INS Lahav, and INS Hanit 22. These vessels have enforced the naval blockade of Gaza and have participated in combat operations 1932. GE Aerospace ITAR Settlement (April 2026)

The US Department of State concluded a $36 million consent agreement with General Electric Company in April 2026, resolving 116 violations of the Arms Export Control Act (AECA) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) occurring between approximately 2018 and 2024 3334. The primary documented violation category was the unauthorised export of technical data to the People’s Republic of China, including data related to F-35, F110, F118, and F414 military engines 3334. Shareholder Resolution - Presbyterian Foundation / Proposal 7 (May 2026)

The Presbyterian Foundation filed Proposal 7 for GE Aerospace’s 2026 annual meeting on 5 May 2026, requesting an independent third-party report assessing GE’s human rights due diligence with respect to whether its defence products used by customers in conflict zones contribute to violations of international humanitarian law, with specific focus on sales to the IDF 4041. GE Aerospace’s board recommended voting against the proposal 4042. BDS Campaign (Pre-2020)

In December 2015, the United Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers union passed a resolution endorsing the BDS movement in part in connection with its labour relationship with General Electric 45. An individual stock-sale protest citing GE’s Israeli military supply was documented in December 2015 45.
