Argos’s evidenced Israel-nexus retail relationships arise from consumer brands and a parent-group general-merchandise supplier disclosure, rather than identified food sourcing.7, 8, 9, 10

Keter - verified ongoing Argos stockist. Argos operates a live Keter brand page advertising sheds, outdoor storage, garden furniture, garage storage, and the Keter Signature range.7 Keter Group is Israeli-founded and Israel-headquartered in Herzliya, while operating through Luxembourg-registered Keter Group SA.11, 12 BC Partners and Canada’s PSP Investments acquired Keter from the Sagol family in 2016; after a failed 2024 sale, senior lenders took 100% ownership effective 29 April 2024, although the current lender group is not publicly identified.13, 14 Keter is therefore an Israel-headquartered manufacturer under international creditor control whose products Argos continues to retail.7, 13, 14

Starplast - current Argos availability and verified parent-group supplier disclosure. Argos’s live page offered the Starplast Water Fun Trolley Portable Toy – Ice World, product pgrbft0d, for £49.99 with a postcode delivery check and an “Add to trolley” function when retrieved in September 2026.15 Sainsbury’s 2025 GM and Clothing Tier 1 Supplier List identifies Starplast Industries (1967) Ltd., Alon Tavor Industrial Zone, Afula, Israel, as a General Merchandise “Main production site.”10 Starplast’s own current account identifies a production site in Alon Tavor, Israel.16, 10

These sources establish current Argos catalogue availability and a 2025 parent-group supplier-site relationship, but do not establish that Argos Limited was the contracting buyer, importer of record, or direct procurer for this SKU.10, 15 Argos’s terms state that marketplace items identify themselves as “Sold & delivered by Trusted Seller”; the retrieved Starplast page did not display that label, supporting treatment of the listing as an Argos Retail sale rather than a disclosed marketplace listing, as an inference from the page presentation rather than a verified contracting-party record.17, 15 no public evidence identified of an Argos-specific purchase order, procurement agreement, shipment record, importer-of-record documentation, SKU-to-factory declaration, purchase volume, or payment flow for the item.10, 15, 17

SodaStream - verified ongoing Argos retail and refill activity. Argos’s SodaStream category contained 19 products, including machines and CO₂ cylinders, when retrieved in September 2026.8 A current Argos cylinder page states that customers may exchange an empty Quick Connect cylinder at Argos or Sainsbury’s and pay for gas refill only; the page also contains Argos-colleague answers dated 2025–26.9 These pages establish ongoing retail and refill activity, not the manufacturing origin, exporter, importer of record, or procurement terms for individual UK SKUs.8, 9 PepsiCo’s 2025 Form 10-K lists SodaStream International Ltd., SodaStream Industries Ltd. and SodaStream Israel Ltd. as Israeli subsidiaries, establishing a contemporary corporate Israel nexus independently of any historical settlement factory.18 SodaStream International’s current LEI record identifies its headquarters in Kfar Saba, Israel.19

Israeli apparel suppliers - links to Argos remain unverified. Delta Galil Industries and Tefron Ltd were previously asserted to appear on a Sainsbury’s Tu supplier list, but no primary source in the retained material confirms either as a current Argos or Tu supplier.20 Delta Galil does not appear in a text search of Sainsbury’s 2025 GM and Clothing Tier 1 Supplier List.10 The earlier assertion of a ZIM Integrated Shipping freight contract for Argos or Sainsbury’s has no retained primary source and is not treated as established.20

Sainsbury’s supermarket and settlement/OPT-origin goods. No public evidence identified in this bounded review of a current Sainsbury’s supermarket product for which a source establishes the product, producer, sale by Sainsbury’s, and origin in an Israeli settlement or occupied Palestinian territory.21, 10, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 Sainsbury’s 2025 supplier list confirms Starplast’s Israel-based general-merchandise production site, but does not establish supermarket food sourcing, a settlement origin, or a product-specific Argos contract.10

An undated legacy Sainsbury’s GM supplier-list PDF identifies RAM Quality Products Ltd. at Barkan Industrial Area, Israel, as a GM main-production site; because the document does not state its reporting period and the 2025 list contains no RAM Quality entry, it is an unresolved historical lead rather than evidence of a current relationship.25, 10 No product, invoice, Argos connection, contract date, or continuation evidence was located for RAM Quality.10, 25

The June 2025 ICJP release asserts that it issued Sainsbury’s a notice concerning “continued stocking” of settlement products and refers to the Kennedy Centre, Belfast.22 The published release identifies no product, producer, origin, sale date, importer, or attached notice or product schedule; the Kennedy Centre listing confirms a Sainsbury’s store at that location but not its stock or product origins.22, 28 No public primary evidence identified that the published ICJP material itself documented an ongoing Sainsbury’s sourcing relationship, as opposed to alleging one.22 The primary release was directly retrieved on 8 September 2026 and establishes that ICJP made an ongoing-stocking allegation in June 2025. The retained evidence identifies Israel-headquartered brands retailed by Argos and a 2025 group supplier site in Israel, but does not establish the origin of each current product sold by Argos.7, 16, 8, 9, 10, 15

Keter and the Barkan Industrial Zone. Keter historically operated at Barkan, an Israeli settlement industrial zone in the occupied West Bank, as documented by Who Profits through 17 December 2014.30 Who Profits’ follow-up reporting records visual evidence suggesting cessation of that activity around November 2016.31 no public evidence identified of Keter resuming West Bank operations or of current Argos Keter stock originating there.7, 30, 31

Starplast. Starplast’s documented Alon Tavor production site is in Afula, Israel; the retained evidence does not identify it as a settlement or occupied-territory site.16, 10 The Argos Water Fun Trolley page does not state manufacturing country, producer address, importer, exporter, or settlement/OPT origin.15 The page names RTL at a Zaragoza, Spain address, but does not define that party’s role and therefore does not establish manufacturer, seller, importer, or country of origin.15 Starplast’s own Water Fun Trolley page identifies SKU 060509 and product characteristics but gives no manufacturing-country declaration; no documentary basis was located to connect the Argos Ice World item to a particular factory.32

Delta Galil. Delta Galil has a documented settlement nexus, including a Barkan warehouse, settlement-located retail stores, a Who Profits profile stated as valid through 22 October 2024, and inclusion in the retained 2023 UN OHCHR settlement-business database update.20, 33, 34 Its relationship to Argos remains unverified.20, 10

UK settlement-labelling requirements principally concern food-origin marking, making them more directly relevant to Sainsbury’s supermarket operations than Argos’s general-merchandise retail activity.1, 2 no public evidence identified of a DEFRA, customs, Trading Standards, or other regulatory enforcement action naming Argos for mislabelling settlement-origin goods.1, 2

J Sainsbury’s 2026 annual-report materials characterise the group and its approximately 140,000 colleagues as operating across the UK.4 no public evidence identified of Argos or J Sainsbury plc operating retail, warehouse, fulfilment, customer-support, tax, employment, franchise, licence, or distribution facilities in Israel, the West Bank, East Jerusalem, the Golan Heights, or elsewhere in the occupied Palestinian territories.1, 35, 4, 6

Argos’s evidenced market activity connected to the Israeli economy remains UK retailing of Keter, Starplast, and SodaStream brands.7, 8, 9, 15 The 31 July 2026 corporate announcement names Swift Whistle Midco Limited as the agreed buyer, with principal shareholders Richard Pennycook, Trevor Strain, Matt Truman, and True Capital.5, 6 Completion is expected in February 2027, with full separation expected to take up to 24 months after completion; until completion Argos and Sainsbury’s are stated to continue operating as they do today, and no completed exit is established.5, 6

The announced transaction includes Argos stores, store-in-store operations, sales channels, brands, logistics networks, Argos Care, Argos Pet Insurance, the Daventry distribution centre, and sourcing offices in Shanghai and Hong Kong.6 The announcement identifies UK, China, and Hong Kong locations, but no Israel or occupied-territory asset, operation, or office.6

Argos was founded in the United Kingdom in 1972 by Richard Tompkins and developed through BAT Industries, Great Universal Stores/GUS, and Home Retail Group before J Sainsbury plc’s 2016 acquisition.44, 1 Argos Limited’s correct Companies House number is 01081551; the prior reference to company number 05197478 is superseded by the official Argos Limited record.1

J Sainsbury plc’s governance materials list Argos Limited among the group’s UK subsidiaries for section 172 reporting and describe Argos as one of the group’s consumer brands.3, 4 Companies House currently records Tumblecrest 2 Limited as Argos’s sole active PSC, holding at least 75% of shares and voting rights and power to appoint or remove directors.45, 43 Company 05860214 was named Argos Holdings Limited from 2 August 2006 until 29 April 2026, when it changed its name to Tumblecrest 2 Limited; Argos’s 4 June 2026 PSC05 filing records the associated change effective 29 April 2026.35, 46, 47 This is a name change, not evidence of a change in Argos’s reported PSC.35, 45, 46, 47

Tumblecrest 2’s filing history records director changes on 27–28 July 2026, when Samuel James Winkworth and Irina Beech ceased as directors and Martyn Edward Childs was appointed; these changes do not by themselves establish a transfer of Argos ownership or a new ultimate owner.47 Companies House lists Bláthnaid Bergin, Graham Ross Biggart, and Mark Given as Argos directors, together with Sainsbury’s Corporate Secretary Limited as company secretary.43
