Supply Chain & Sourcing Relationships
Business model and commercial supply
Expedia Group, Inc. operates an international digital travel marketplace connecting accommodation providers, airlines and other travel suppliers with consumers and business partners. Its 2025 Form 10-K reported approximately 3.6 million lodging properties available across its marketplace and stated that lodging generated 80% of worldwide revenue in 2025.1
Expedia.com and Hotels.com historically advertised accommodation located in Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territory. Amnesty International identified nine accommodation providers during its 2018 investigation, including four larger hotels, a luxury campsite and rental apartments. This finding is historical [pre-2020]; the current status of each individual accommodation relationship is unknown.2
AFSC Investigate independently records Expedia.com and Hotels.com accommodation listings in Israeli settlements in occupied Palestinian and Syrian territories, including more than a dozen Golan Heights listings documented by Amnesty’s 2018 research. The historical listing dates are established; independently verified current property-level availability is unknown.3
Who Profits identifies Expedia.com, Hotels.com, trivago, Vrbo, Orbitz and ebookers as Expedia-group websites advertising properties in the occupied West Bank, East Jerusalem and Syrian Golan Heights. The named operating websites constitute distinct distribution channels, although the underlying property suppliers may overlap. The precise first and last active dates of every listing are not established.4
Named commercial relationship and act record
- Acting entities: Expedia.com and Hotels.com, Expedia Group booking services; beneficiaries: accommodation providers advertising rooms in settlements; channel: expedia.com and hotels.com; earliest documented observation: Amnesty’s 2018 investigation [pre-2020]; latest independently established observation: the 2019 Amnesty publication; subsequent status: individual relationships unknown. The historical audience comprised visitors to Expedia’s consumer booking websites. Actual booking totals and commissions were not disclosed.5
- Acting entities: Expedia-group travel brands identified by Who Profits, including trivago, Vrbo, Orbitz and ebookers; beneficiaries: accommodation advertisers in occupied Palestinian and Syrian territory; channel: the named travel-brand websites; observation: Who Profits’ published company profile, with individual listing dates incompletely specified; current individual listing status and transaction values: not independently established.4
Direct agricultural suppliers
No public evidence identified of direct commercial procurement by Expedia Group from Mehadrin, Hadiklaim, Galilee Export or Agrexco successors, or of Expedia purchasing dates, avocados, citrus, herbs or potatoes for resale. The reviewed annual report describes travel facilitation and accommodation supply rather than an agricultural retail business.1
Importer-of-record arrangements
No public evidence identified of an Expedia-owned importer of record, agricultural import joint venture or dedicated goods-importing subsidiary handling Israeli-origin merchandise. The 2025 consolidated business description focuses on travel bookings and related services.1
Seasonal sourcing
No public evidence identified of recurring December–April agricultural procurement from Israeli exporters. Expedia’s disclosed seasonality concerns travel booking and accommodation-stay patterns.1
Indirect sourcing and distributors
The identified indirect supply chain consists of accommodation owners and operators distributing rooms or rentals through Expedia-operated consumer websites. Expedia’s 2019 corporate response confirmed that accommodation providers could apply to join its platform, subject to applicable laws. Specific intermediary companies, hotel-management contractors and contractual chains connecting individual settlement properties to Expedia were not established.6
Product Origin, Labeling & Regulatory Compliance
Settlement-origin services
Amnesty International documented nine settlement accommodation providers advertised through Expedia.com and Hotels.com in its 2018 investigation [pre-2020]. These were tourism and accommodation services rather than physical merchandise requiring agricultural country-of-origin labels.7
The investigation found that Expedia’s location descriptions changed during 2018. By November 2018, Expedia.com was identifying six of the nine relevant properties as being in Israeli settlements. The historical observation does not establish that all nine properties were consistently or correctly identified on every Expedia-group website.7
Who Profits reports that some Expedia-group listings in the West Bank are identified as Israeli settlements, whereas locations in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights are presented as locations in Israel. The observation concerns geographical representation on travel websites; no independent current listing-by-listing verification was completed.4
Public corporate policy
In its published response to Amnesty International, Expedia stated that accommodation providers could join its platform subject to applicable laws and described its practice of identifying occupied Palestinian territory accommodation as Israeli settlements located in Palestinian territory. This statement documents the company’s position at the time of its response [pre-2020]. Whether the wording and implementation remain unchanged in October 2026 is unknown.6
Amnesty’s January 2019 public findings stated that the four tourism platforms investigated, including Expedia, did not consistently identify settlement locations. This is an attributed investigative finding rather than a regulatory adjudication against Expedia.8
Government enforcement and product-origin investigations
No public evidence identified of a DEFRA, UK customs, EU customs or Israeli product-origin labelling enforcement action against Expedia concerning agricultural settlement products. Expedia’s disclosed principal commercial activity is travel-platform distribution, and the reviewed investigation addresses accommodation-location descriptions.1, 9
No public evidence identified of a judicial determination specifically holding Expedia Group liable for misleading settlement-origin product labels. The reviewed company response and Amnesty reporting establish a public dispute over accommodation descriptions.6, 10
Communication act record
- Acting entity: Expedia Group, Inc.; recipient: Amnesty International and readers of its public response; channel: business-humanrights.org; earliest and latest documented communication: the published response associated with the 2019 investigation [pre-2020]; status of the original communication: publicly accessible at the research date; current operational implementation: unknown. The communication addressed the international public and accommodation customers, but readership figures are unavailable.6
- Acting entity: Amnesty International; subject: Expedia Group and other online tourism platforms; audience: the international public; channel: amnesty.org; publication: 30 January 2019 [pre-2020]; continuing availability: the historical report remained accessible during the October 2026 research. Its findings describe conduct observed before publication.10
Investment, Capital & Financial Exposure
Company-level financial position
Expedia Group reported worldwide revenue of $14.733 billion for fiscal 2025, compared with $13.691 billion in 2024 and $12.839 billion in 2023. These are consolidated worldwide figures and do not measure Israel-specific revenue.1
The group’s principal disclosed business segments include business-to-consumer operations, business-to-business services and trivago. The 2025 Form 10-K reports adjusted EBITDA by segment but does not disclose a separately identified Israeli settlement accommodation contribution.1
Acquired and controlled operating businesses
Expedia, Inc. announced an agreement on 4 November 2015 to acquire US-based HomeAway, Inc., including its brands, for an equity value of approximately $3.9 billion in cash and shares. This historical acquisition [pre-2020] provides the corporate connection to the vacation-rental business subsequently associated with Vrbo; HomeAway was not identified as an Israeli-incorporated target.11
Expedia acquired control of trivago in 2013 [pre-2020]. trivago N.V.’s 2025 annual filing states that Expedia Group held 59.2% of trivago’s equity and 83.9% of its voting rights at 31 December 2025. The entity is incorporated in the Netherlands; its controlled ownership is a documented group investment but does not establish acquisition of an Israeli operating company.12
Expedia Group announced an agreement on 10 December 2025 to acquire Tiqets, described in its announcement as an Amsterdam-based international activities platform. The announcement established an intended acquisition; the examined announcement alone does not establish completion, an Israeli manufacturing operation or an Israeli incorporated target.13
Israeli operating-company acquisitions
No public evidence identified of Expedia Group acquiring a controlling stake in an Israeli-incorporated operating company, including a named Israeli manufacturer, cybersecurity company, infrastructure operator or accommodation technology company, within the disclosures and company records examined. Consequently, no verified Israeli acquisition date, consideration, subsidiary ownership percentage, manufacturing facility, employee scale or defence relationship can be reported.1, 12
Research and development
The 2025 Form 10-K describes Expedia’s global technology and product-development activities, but the examined disclosures do not establish a named Israeli R&D centre, local accelerator or Israel Innovation Authority-funded development facility. No public evidence identified of a specific Expedia Israeli R&D investment.1
Ownership and financing
Expedia Group, Inc. is a Delaware corporation headquartered in Seattle, Washington. Its securities are publicly traded, and its ownership structure includes ordinary common stock and Class B common stock with enhanced voting rights.14
The 2026 proxy identifies The Vanguard Group as holding 13.3% of common stock in the table dated 20 April 2026, while BlackRock, Inc. is reported at 8.7%. The Vanguard disclosure includes a subsequent ownership-reporting realignment, so the reported percentage must be interpreted with the proxy’s footnotes and should not be treated as definitive evidence of ongoing group-level beneficial ownership on 26 October 2026.14
Barry Diller and associated family members held all outstanding Class B shares reported in Expedia’s corporate disclosures, representing approximately 32% of total voting power at the relevant reporting date. This is material voting influence, although the cited disclosures do not identify Israeli-state beneficial ownership.15
Financial-sector activities
No public evidence identified of Expedia Group underwriting Israeli sovereign debt, distributing Israel Bonds, operating an Israeli sovereign-bond investment fund, or providing direct lending or insurance underwriting to Israeli defence contractors. The reviewed 2025 Form 10-K describes Expedia as a travel marketplace rather than a financial institution engaged in these activities.1
No public evidence identified of a disclosed Expedia corporate treasury portfolio allocation specifically to Israeli sovereign bonds, Israeli defence manufacturers or settlement-active companies. The reviewed financial statements do not provide an instrument-level investment schedule sufficient to establish such holdings.1
Principal investment attribution
The 2025 proxy identifies Alex von Furstenberg’s investment affiliations, including Ranger Global Advisors, Arrow Capital Management and Arrow Investments. No specific Israeli portfolio company, investment amount, acquisition date or settlement-related transaction by these vehicles was established from the reviewed disclosures.16
No public evidence identified of a separately attributable Israeli commercial investment by Barry Diller, Ariane Gorin, Dara Khosrowshahi or the other named Expedia directors that meets the requested level of documentation for acting entity, investment recipient, amount and date.14, 16
On 30 July 2024, Expedia Group-controlled trivago N.V. acquired an initial 38.6% equity interest (30.0% on a fully diluted basis) in Holisto Limited, an Israeli-incorporated travel technology company, for approximately €10.2 million, including direct transaction costs. The investment included an option to acquire the remaining equity interests. On 31 July 2025, trivago exercised that option and acquired all remaining outstanding equity interests for €22.3 million (approximately USD 25.5 million), making Holisto its wholly owned and consolidated subsidiary. trivago’s 2025 annual report identifies the transaction as a step acquisition and confirms that Holisto was subsequently renamed trivago DEALS Ltd. Expedia Group held 59.2% of trivago’s equity and 83.9% of its voting rights at 31 December 2025, establishing the indirect corporate ownership relationship. The initial investment occurred after 19 July 2024, and the acquisition of full ownership occurred after November 2024.12, 17
Holisto acquisition - confirmation and correction of acquisition findings. trivago N.V.’s primary SEC filings establish that its investment in Israeli travel technology company Holisto Limited began on 30 July 2024, when trivago acquired a 38.6% equity interest (30.0% fully diluted) for approximately €10.2 million, together with an option to acquire the remaining shares. On 31 July 2025, trivago completed the acquisition of all remaining equity interests for €22.3 million, obtaining 100% ownership and consolidating Holisto’s financial results from that date. The acquired business was subsequently renamed trivago DEALS Ltd., which trivago’s fiscal 2025 subsidiary register explicitly identifies as incorporated in Israel. This evidence corrects the existing statement under “Israeli operating-company acquisitions” that no acquisition of a controlling stake in an Israeli-incorporated operating company was identified. It simultaneously confirms the later statements under “Principal investment attribution” and “Corporate Structure & Foundational Ties” documenting the completed Holisto acquisition and indirectly Expedia-controlled Israeli subsidiary. The distinction is between Expedia Group’s direct acquisitions and its indirect acquisition through controlled subsidiary trivago. The filings establish an Israeli-incorporated operating-company acquisition through trivago, without establishing any defence-sector or settlement-related activity by Holisto.17, 18, 19, 12
Operational Presence & Market Activity
Accommodation distribution
Expedia.com and Hotels.com historically provided customers with access to settlement accommodation in occupied Palestinian territory. Amnesty documented nine accommodation providers in 2018–2019 [pre-2020]. This establishes historical market activity through online booking channels, although the level of completed bookings and resulting commissions is not disclosed.7
AFSC Investigate documents Expedia’s settlement-related commercial activity in the occupied Palestinian and Syrian territories. The record describes both accommodation listings and a wider geographic footprint than the nine properties counted in Amnesty’s Palestinian-territory sample.3
Who Profits identifies Expedia-group advertising of properties in the occupied West Bank, East Jerusalem and Golan Heights. The precise current number of listings, platform-specific inventory, booking volumes and revenue remain unverified.4
Physical offices and staff
Amnesty’s 2019 investigation reported that Expedia did not maintain an office in Israel or the occupied Palestinian territory at that time but employed people elsewhere who managed local accommodation relationships. It cited a Hebrew-language partner-support role associated with Expedia’s Prague office. This evidence is [pre-2020], and its current staffing implications are unknown.7
Expedia Group’s current corporate careers website describes a multinational workforce operating across more than 50 countries, while the official office-locations page identifies numerous international office hubs. Neither page independently establishes a current Israeli office address or Israeli workforce count.20, 21
The company’s 2025 Form 10-K reported approximately 16,000 employees worldwide at year-end 2025. No public evidence identified in the examined filing of a separately disclosed Israel-specific employee total.1
Israeli market characterisation
No public evidence identified in the reviewed 2025 Form 10-K of Expedia formally designating Israel as a strategic regional headquarters, principal growth hub or separately reported operating segment. Its financial reporting aggregates revenue by broad business segments and geographical classifications.1
Government procurement and defence activity
No public evidence identified of a named Expedia Group contract with the Israeli Ministry of Defence, Israel Defense Forces or Israeli military-intelligence organisations. The examined corporate disclosures and documented accommodation-platform relationships do not establish such a contract.1, 3
No public evidence identified of an Expedia-specific reservist salary-subsidy programme, IDF application-distribution agreement, military-device procurement relationship or Israeli government technology tender. The reviewed employee and financial disclosures do not identify those arrangements.1, 20
Continuity after July and November 2024
The International Court of Justice’s July 2024 advisory opinion forms a relevant temporal reference for the occupation-related business activities under examination, while the September 2025 OHCHR database process demonstrates continuing international scrutiny of settlement-related commercial activities.22
Contemporary reporting on the September 2025 OHCHR database identifies Expedia among the listed companies. This establishes post-July 2024 public documentation concerning Expedia, but does not independently verify the transaction date of every Expedia accommodation listing or demonstrate a new booking after November 2024.23
No independently verified listing-level evidence identified in this research establishes the first and last dates of individual Expedia transactions after 19 July 2024 or after the November 2024 ICC warrants. Historical listings must therefore be distinguished from demonstrably completed transactions within those later periods.4, 23
Public communications and institutional scrutiny
Amnesty International publicly identified Expedia among the online travel companies advertising settlement accommodation on 30 January 2019 [pre-2020]. The communication targeted the general public and policymakers and remains accessible as historical reporting.24
The UN Human Rights Council’s September 2025 proceedings described an updated business database containing 158 enterprises associated with listed settlement-related activities. The UN described the database methodology as an assessment based on reasonable grounds, rather than an individual criminal judgment against each listed company.22
On 31 July 2025, trivago disclosed that its completed acquisition of Holisto Limited brought an operating travel technology business into its consolidated corporate group. The SEC filing identifies Holisto as an AI-driven hotel rate aggregator and white-label booking engine provider and states that trivago would operate Holisto’s business, including its merchant-of-record activities for hotel bookings. At acquisition, Holisto employed 211 people working from its headquarters in Israel and other global locations. This establishes an Israeli operational headquarters and employment footprint within the Expedia-controlled corporate group from 31 July 2025. The disclosed figure of 211 employees represents Holisto’s geographically distributed workforce and cannot be attributed entirely to Israel.17, 18
Corporate Structure & Foundational Ties
Founding and domicile
Expedia originated as a US travel technology business and is currently operated through Expedia Group, Inc., a Delaware corporation with principal executive offices at 1111 Expedia Group Way W., Seattle, Washington. Its US incorporation and headquarters are established in SEC filings.14
No public evidence identified that Expedia Group, Inc. was founded in Israel, maintains its principal headquarters in Israel, or is an Israeli tax-resident enterprise. Its SEC filings identify a US legal domicile and US principal executive offices.1, 14
No public evidence identified of Expedia Group holding Israeli Preferred Technology Enterprise status or an Israeli-state golden share. The examined governance disclosures instead describe US corporate share classes and shareholder voting arrangements.14
Integrated operating entities
Expedia Group’s consumer-brand portfolio includes Expedia, Hotels.com, Vrbo, Orbitz, Travelocity, ebookers and other travel websites. Their inclusion in the group’s portfolio establishes corporate distribution relationships but does not, by itself, establish that every brand maintains independently verified settlement contracts.25
trivago N.V. is a separately incorporated, publicly traded Netherlands company over which Expedia Group reported controlling equity and voting interests at 31 December 2025. Its historical acquisition of control occurred in 2013 [pre-2020]; control remained documented in the 2025 filing.12
Expedia, Inc. and Expedia Lodging Partner Services S.à r.l. appear in trivago’s historical shareholder-agreement disclosures. Those relationships demonstrate group-level corporate and contractual structures but do not identify either entity as an Israeli-incorporated operating company.12
Named controlling and influential persons
- Barry Diller - Expedia Chair and significant voting shareholder; searched for Israeli portfolio investments, settlements, defence relationships and philanthropic investment activity; the corporate voting relationship is established, but no individually attributable Israeli investment was verified.14
- Ariane Gorin - Expedia Chief Executive Officer; searched for Israeli corporate and technology investments; executive role established, with no qualifying individual Israeli investment identified.14
- The Vanguard Group - institutional shareholder reported above 10% of common equity in the 2026 proxy’s reference-date table; searched Israeli investments and financial relationships; the proxy documents its ownership-reporting realignment, and no distinct Expedia-attributable Israeli act was established.14
- BlackRock, Inc. - institutional shareholder reported below 10% of common equity in the 2026 proxy; searched financial and Israeli exposure; no distinct Expedia-attributable Israeli transaction identified.14
- Alex von Furstenberg - director, Class B shareholder and family investment principal; searched Ranger Global Advisors, Arrow Capital Management and Arrow Investments for Israeli portfolio positions; no specific qualifying transaction identified.16
- Dara Khosrowshahi - director and former Expedia CEO; searched defence, Israeli commercial investments and relevant board affiliations; no qualifying independently verified Israeli investment identified.16
- Chelsea Clinton - director; searched investment and institutional affiliations for relevant Israeli economic acts; no qualifying transaction established.16
- Craig Jacobson - director; searched investment and corporate affiliations; no qualifying Israeli economic act identified.16
- Beverly Anderson - director; searched investment and institutional affiliations; no qualifying Israeli economic act identified.16
- Patricia Menendez Cambo - director; searched investment and infrastructure affiliations; no qualifying Israeli economic act identified.16
- M. Moina Banerjee - director identified in the 2026 proxy; searched Israeli corporate investments; no qualifying act identified.14
- Henrique Dubugras - director identified in the 2026 proxy; searched Israeli corporate investments; no qualifying act identified.14
- Alexandr Wang - director identified in the 2026 proxy; searched technology, defence and Israeli commercial affiliations; no Expedia-attributable Israeli transaction identified.14
Ownership of Israeli operating entities
No public evidence identified of an Expedia-controlled Israeli manufacturer, agricultural exporter, cybersecurity contractor, pharmaceutical company, military supplier or nationally designated Israeli infrastructure operator. The identified controlled trivago entity is Netherlands-incorporated, while the historical HomeAway acquisition involved a US company.11, 12
State and structural governance links
The 2026 proxy documents common shares and Class B voting rights, including voting influence associated with Barry Diller and related shareholders. No public evidence identified that those rights are held by the Israeli state or contractually require Expedia to support Israeli government policy.14
No public evidence identified of a current Israeli government board appointee, Israeli state equity stake, statutory Israeli golden share or designation of Expedia Group as Israeli critical national infrastructure. The reviewed governance and annual-report disclosures do not establish such arrangements.1, 14
Following trivago’s acquisition of the remaining equity interests in Holisto on 31 July 2025, Holisto became a wholly owned and consolidated subsidiary of trivago N.V. and was subsequently renamed trivago DEALS Ltd. trivago’s subsidiary register, filed with its 2025 annual report, explicitly identifies trivago Deals Ltd. as incorporated in Israel. The same register identifies additional Holisto entities incorporated in Delaware, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Philippines and Canada. Together with Expedia Group’s controlling ownership and voting interests in trivago, these disclosures establish an indirectly Expedia-controlled Israeli-incorporated operating subsidiary as of 31 December 2025. This corporate relationship independently establishes Israeli subsidiary ownership without implying Israeli state ownership, a defence-sector relationship or involvement in settlement activity by Holisto.12, 17, 19
Profit Repatriation & Economic Contribution
Global revenue
Expedia Group reported consolidated revenue of $14.733 billion for 2025 and approximately $13.691 billion for 2024. Its principal commercial activity is the provision of technology-enabled travel booking and related services, with lodging accounting for 80% of its 2025 worldwide revenue.1
Settlement accommodation revenue mechanism
Amnesty’s 2019 detailed investigation described Expedia’s accommodation booking business as generating revenue through commissions charged on bookings. It also reported that Expedia did not disclose the commission attributable to the specific settlement bookings it examined. The research concerned accommodation listings observed in 2018–2019 [pre-2020].7
Expedia’s corporate response acknowledged the ability of accommodation providers to join the company’s distribution platform under its stated legal and geographical-description policies. The response established a commercial platform arrangement but did not quantify individual settlement-host revenues, booking transactions or commissions.6
Revenue attribution to Israel
No public evidence identified in Expedia’s reviewed 2025 financial statements of a separately reported revenue figure for Israel, the occupied West Bank, East Jerusalem or the occupied Golan Heights. Published consolidated revenue and broad geographical disclosures cannot be disaggregated reliably into those markets.1
Profit direction and repatriation
Expedia Group, Inc. is headquartered in the United States and consolidates international subsidiaries. The historical settlement accommodation relationships represent local accommodation services distributed through Expedia-group platforms, but the reviewed records do not establish the exact allocation of each booking payment between accommodation providers, intermediaries, local tax authorities and Expedia entities.1, 7
No public evidence identified of separately quantified settlement booking profits repatriated to Expedia’s US parent, or global Expedia profits remitted to an Israeli-domiciled controlling parent. The examined ownership disclosures identify a US parent rather than an Israeli parent company.1, 14
Local economic effects
Amnesty’s 2019 investigation identified settlement hotels and rental properties advertised on Expedia websites and argued that travel-platform promotion contributed economically to settlement tourism. This is an attributed civil-society assessment based on historical [pre-2020] listings; the reviewed records do not quantify Expedia’s contribution to settlement employment, local tax receipts or property revenues.26
Who Profits’ Expedia profile documents advertising of accommodation in the occupied West Bank, East Jerusalem and Golan Heights across multiple group websites. It does not establish a complete independently audited statement of Expedia’s Israeli-market profits or settlement-related tax payments.4
Israeli workforce and tax contribution
No public evidence identified in the reviewed corporate filings of an Israel-specific Expedia payroll figure, Israeli corporation-tax payment, Israeli VAT contribution or separately quantified economic output. Expedia’s consolidated reporting does not provide a verified basis for calculating those figures.1
Israeli financial-system contribution
No public evidence identified of Expedia Group acting as an underwriter of Israeli sovereign bonds, financing Israeli defence manufacturers, or operating an Israeli lending institution. Its reported commercial activities concern travel marketplace operations, advertising and associated technology services.1
Continuing public documentation
The September 2025 OHCHR database update and subsequent reporting provide evidence that Expedia’s settlement-related commercial activity continued to be identified in public institutional documentation after the July and November 2024 legal milestones. The available documentation does not establish a verified October 2026 listing inventory, a 2026 settlement transaction volume or proof of a specific post-November 2024 completed booking.22, 23
Local economic effects - correction of the supporting citation. Amnesty International’s primary publication Israel/OPT: Tourism Companies Driving Settlement Expansion, Profiting from War Crimes, dated 30 January 2019, directly supports the existing statement attributing settlement-tourism economic effects to Amnesty’s 2019 investigation. Amnesty identified nine settlement accommodation providers advertised by Expedia, including four large hotels, and argued that Expedia and other online platforms promoted tourism benefiting settlement businesses. Amnesty described these commercial activities as contributing to settlement development and associated human-rights violations. Its accompanying Chapter 4, also published on 30 January 2019, specifically documents Expedia.com’s and Hotels.com’s settlement accommodation listings and Expedia’s commission-based booking model. These publications confirm the existing “Local economic effects” paragraph’s attribution to Amnesty International, but correct its evidentiary support: existing End Note 23 refers to Human Rights Watch’s separate investigation dated 20 November 2018, which principally examined Airbnb and Booking.com. Amnesty’s January 2019 publications provide the appropriate primary citations for the Expedia-specific finding. The economic contribution remains Amnesty’s attributed assessment; neither publication establishes a quantified Expedia-specific contribution to settlement employment, tax receipts or property revenues.24, 7
