Greenkote Economic Audit

Supply Chain & Sourcing Relationships

Greenkote’s public-facing materials and UK registry records describe a metal-coatings business rather than a food, produce, or grocery importer, which narrows the relevance of agricultural supply-chain indicators in this domain 123.
No public evidence identified.
No public evidence identified.
No public evidence identified.

The reviewed public record did not identify direct supplier relationships between Greenkote and Israeli agricultural exporters such as Mehadrin, Hadiklaim, Galilee Export, or Agrexco 124.
The reviewed public record did not identify Greenkote as an importer of record for agricultural or region-of-origin goods, and the available business descriptions instead point to industrial coatings activity 123.
The reviewed public record did not identify seasonal sourcing patterns tied to Israeli produce procurement 243.
The reviewed public record also did not identify a shelf-based retail business through which Greenkote would source Israeli-origin agricultural goods indirectly for consumer sale 123.

Product Origin, Labeling & Regulatory Compliance

The reviewed materials did not identify Greenkote as a participant in consumer food or agricultural labeling regimes, and no evidence in this record links the company to settlement-origin goods mislabeled as Produce of Israel 243.
The reviewed company materials, registry pages, and cited public records did not identify labeling-compliance findings or enforcement actions concerning settlement goods and Greenkote 124.
The reviewed public materials also did not identify a published Greenkote corporate policy on sourcing or labeling goods from occupied territories 245.

Greenkote does, however, publish industrial product documentation, including a safety data sheet dated 29 August 2019 for PM-1/P, PM-10/P, and PM-21/P 6.
That safety data sheet identifies the supplier as Greenkote Plc, Industrial Zone Barkan, 448200 Barkan, Israel, which is relevant to product-origin and site-identification analysis even though it is not a consumer labeling document 6.

Investment, Capital & Financial Exposure

The Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights listed Greenkote P.L.C. in its 12 February 2020 database update under activity code (g) in the section for business enterprises involved as licensors or franchisors 7.
OHCHR’s 30 June 2023 update again listed Greenkote P.L.C. under activity code (g) and stated that the review period for that update covered 1 August 2019 through 31 December 2022 8.
A UK Parliament written question dated 30 June 2025 asked ministers about Greenkote PLC and its inclusion in the UN list in 2024 and 2025, and the ministerial answer stated that the government was aware of the OHCHR database but did not comment on individual businesses 9.

Companies House charges show that the UK parent pledged all shares of greenkote (israel) limited in a charge created on 6 June 2008 and delivered on 21 June 2008, which is documentary evidence that the UK entity held the Israeli subsidiary’s shares at that time 10.
Greenkote PLC’s audited group accounts for the year ended 31 December 2024 list Greenkote (Israel) Ltd. as 100% held by the parent company and separately describe its business as diffusion-coating R&D and production, establishing that the Israeli company remained a wholly owned operating subsidiary at the reporting date 11.
Globes reported on 11 March 2007 that Summet Hi-Tech Coatings Ltd. was founded in 1999, was acquired by Greenkote about two years earlier, was later renamed Greenkote Israel, and that Greenkote received a NIS 1.3 million grant from the Israeli Office of the Chief Scientist 12.
Patent records also connect the operating technology to an Israeli entity, with Greenkote (Israel) Ltd shown as original assignee on publication WO2006006141A1, filed on 14 July 2004 13.
Later patent-family records also identify Greenkote (Israel) Ltd or GREENKOTE LTD, ISRAEL in assignment data, including the ownership record reflected on US8398788B2 14.

The reviewed public materials did not identify portfolio holdings in Israeli sovereign bonds, Israel-focused funds, or Israeli public companies 1155.

Operational Presence & Market Activity

Greenkote’s current company page states that the business is now headquartered in Brook Park, Ohio, and its locations page states that Greenkote’s world headquarters and a major coating facility are located in Brook Park, Ohio 24.
The same locations page lists Greenkote Ltd sales and support in London and licensed facilities in the UK, Mexico, China, and South Africa, but it does not present a current Israel location in the visible locations inventory 4.
Greenkote’s management and officer records also align current operating leadership with Brook Park, Ohio rather than an Israel-based headquarters model 16417.

At the same time, Greenkote’s 29 August 2019 safety data sheet gave the supplier address as Industrial Zone Barkan, 448200 Barkan, Israel and included Israel-linked contact details 6.
A separate Israeli company profile for GREENKOTE (ISRAEL) LTD. identifies an active Israeli private company, company number 512778119, incorporated on 10.5.1999, with an address at 35 HaShemesh, Caesarea, and states that the latest annual report filed was for 2024 18.
Greenkote’s management page also states that CTO Itzhak Rozentul co-founded Greenkote in 1999 and describes prior engineering experience in Russia and Israel 17.

Companies House officer records currently show US-based operating leadership in the UK entity, including Mark J. Gore and Robert Alan Richard at the Brook Park, Ohio address, while James Rodger Thomson resigned on 29 January 2026 and Victor Maurice Segal resigned on 30 September 2025 16.
The reviewed public materials did not quantify workforce size, tax paid, or tax residency in Israel, and they did not identify current annual-report-style positioning of Israel as a named market 12518.

Corporate Structure & Foundational Ties

UK Companies House shows GREENKOTE LIMITED incorporated on 14 February 2005, and the filing record indicates that the company used the name GREENKOTE PLC from 20 April 2005 until 27 October 2025, when it re-registered as a private limited company 115.
Greenkote’s own company page states that the business was originally founded in 1999 and was registered as a public limited company in 2005 2.
The Israeli operating company appears older than the UK PLC because the Israeli company profile shows incorporation on 10 May 1999, while the UK company was incorporated in 2005 118.

Globes reported in 2007 that the Israeli operating business Summet Hi-Tech Coatings Ltd. was founded in 1999 and acquired by Greenkote around 2005 12.
Companies House charges naming all shares of greenkote (israel) limited support the existence of a controlling ownership relationship between the UK entity and the Israeli subsidiary at least by June 2008 10.
Greenkote’s current website also states that Greenkote Ltd is registered as a United Kingdom company, while separately stating that the business is now headquartered in Brook Park, Ohio 24.

The reviewed current public records did not identify state ownership stakes, Israeli government board appointees, golden shares, or charter restrictions tying Greenkote structurally to the Israeli state 11516.
The reviewed current public records also did not identify present beneficial ownership or control by Israeli capital, although they do support the existence of an Israeli operating subsidiary and historical ownership by the UK parent 161018.
The reviewed current public records did not identify Israeli tax residency or PTE status for the present corporate structure 118.

Profit Repatriation & Economic Contribution

The reviewed current public materials did not identify revenue attributed specifically to Israel 25.
The public record supports that the UK parent held the Israeli subsidiary’s shares, but the reviewed materials did not quantify dividend flows, management-fee transfers, royalties, or other profit repatriation flows between Israel, the UK, and the US 10218.
The reviewed materials also did not identify Greenkote in official economic-designation sources as holding a defined economic-ecosystem role in Israel 18.

A settlement-nexus lead does appear in the documentary record because Greenkote’s 2019 safety data sheet used Industrial Zone Barkan, Israel as the supplier address 6.
B’Tselem’s July 2010 report identifies Barkan Industrial Park (next to Ariel) as one of the Israeli industrial areas in the West Bank 19.
OCHA’s 2019 West Bank settlements atlas index also lists both Barkan and Barqan I.P. in Salfit governorate 20.
Taken together, those records support a documentary lead linking a Greenkote supplier address to Barkan Industrial Zone in the West Bank, although the reviewed materials did not include a primary land, lease, or permit document naming Greenkote at that site 61920.

The UK Parliament question dated 30 June 2025 also indicates that the OHCHR-listing issue remained a live matter in public policy discussion after 19 July 2024, although this memo only independently retrieved the Parliament page rather than a separate 2025 OHCHR document 9.
Greenkote’s February 2021 press-release materials also indicate continued industrial operating activity centered on anticorrosion coating demand and facility expansion in Ohio rather than a disclosed Israel-centered profit narrative 21.
