A later Israeli franchise operation was reported to have begun in 2011 under Gur Gal, opening seven outlets in central Israel before the final outlet closed shortly before June 2014.⁴² A 2013 teaching guide names Gal as Subway’s “Development Agent, Israel,” corroborating a local development role but not an IDF, security, or settlement relationship.⁴⁴ This evidence qualifies the earlier conclusion that the later re-entry attempt produced no openings.^{42, 44}
