Marketing positioning. The July 2024 launch described AI engineering and infrastructure expertise, rather than military heritage. No public evidence identified of Nebius claiming an Israeli state-security origin as its brand heritage.¹

Institutional ties. In 2025, the Israel Innovation Authority selected Nebius to establish Israel’s national AI supercomputer. The authority reported an investment exceeding NIS 500 million, including NIS 160 million in government support.
