Enterprise Technology Stack & Vendor Relationships

Wix.com Ltd. is an Israeli corporation headquartered at 5 Yunitsman Street, Tel Aviv; its 2025 Form 20-F identifies Wix.com Ltd. and its subsidiaries collectively as “Wix.” 1

For FY2025, Wix reported that the vast majority of its computing and data were located in U.S. primary data centres hosted by Amazon and Google; it also identified Equinix as the lessor of data-centre premises, Fastly, Google and Amazon as CDN providers, and Amazon, Google, GitHub and BuildKite as third-party cloud services used principally for R&D and office applications. 1

Wix also reported a European hosting data centre and CDN providers worldwide for performance and redundancy. 1 The earlier Trust Center description of a multi-cloud architecture and proprietary data centres is therefore superseded, for current-location purposes, by the 2025 Form 20-F’s U.S.- and Europe-focused infrastructure disclosure. 2, 1

Wiz disclosed that its researchers reported a Base44 access-control vulnerability to Wix/Base44 on 9 July 2025, verified a fix on 10 July, and received confirmation of resolution on 13 July 2025. 3 This establishes a responsible vulnerability-disclosure and remediation interaction, but does not establish a Wiz vendor contract, subscription, commissioned security audit, or continuing procurement relationship. 3

Ron Gutler remains Wix’s lead independent director and is also identified as a CyberArk director; this board overlap does not establish a Wix–CyberArk procurement, licensing, or service relationship. 1, 4

No public evidence identified in the reviewed materials of Wix procurement, subscription, licensing, or platform-integration relationships with Check Point, Wiz, SentinelOne, CyberArk, Claroty, NICE, Verint, or Palo Alto Networks. 1, 3, 4

No public evidence identified of a named systems integrator or digital-transformation consultancy engaged by Wix for a major programme deploying Israeli-origin technology. 1

Surveillance, Biometrics & Retail Technology

No public evidence identified of Wix directly deploying Israeli-origin facial recognition, biometric identification, gait analysis, retail analytics, predictive policing, social-media monitoring, sentiment monitoring, or workforce-surveillance technology. 1, 5, 6

Wix’s App Market has offered third-party integrations including FACEIO, but a marketplace listing does not establish Wix’s internal procurement, deployment, or state-sector use of that technology. 7

No public evidence identified that such tools reach Wix through a managed-security provider or bundled enterprise suite. 1, 3

Cloud Infrastructure, Data Residency & Sovereign Cloud Participation

Wix’s June 2026 privacy materials state that it stores personal information in data centres in the United States and Ireland, while noting that Wix is headquartered in Israel and that group companies and third parties worldwide may process personal data where necessary. 5, 6

Wix’s privacy policy identifies collection and processing of account and contact information, payment information for paid services, communications, and scanned identification documents. 5 The current evidence does not identify a Wix-operated, Wix-leased, or co-located data centre in Israel, and does not establish that customer or visitor data are stored in Israel; the current infrastructure filing instead locates the vast majority of computing and data in U.S. Amazon- and Google-hosted centres. 1, 6

The policy specifically includes information users provide in communications with Wix and with other platform users, as well as browsing and clickstream activity, session heatmaps and scrolls. This is a disclosed data-processing scope, not evidence of Israeli state access or operational surveillance. 5

Google Cloud’s Project Nimbus announcement identifies Google Cloud, not Wix, as selected by the Israeli government to provide public-cloud services to government bodies. 8 Wix’s use of Amazon and Google elsewhere in its infrastructure does not establish use of Israeli cloud regions or participation in Project Nimbus. 1, 8

No public evidence identified that Wix is a Project Nimbus supplier, subcontractor, named participant, Israeli-government cloud contractor, or provider of data-sovereignty, residency, resilience, or cloud services to Israeli state or military bodies. 1, 8

Defence, Intelligence & Security Sector Technology Relationships

In April 2020, Wix announced that Israel’s Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Welfare had requested a COVID-19 volunteer-call system to connect volunteers with people needing support. 9 Wix described the service as built by 20 employees using its then-Corvid/Velo development platform and offered without charge to governments. 9

Wix Engineering identified the project as the “Golden Guard” system and stated that volunteers signed in through an Israeli government portal; the system supported identity validation, a large government-regulated dataset, call-summary logging, review by government officials, and data exports to food-distribution and medical-assistance providers. 10 These sources establish a civilian welfare and emergency-coordination deployment to two Israeli civilian ministries, but do not identify the dataset’s physical location, retention period, contract value, or present operational status. 9, 10

No public evidence identified of Wix contracts or service agreements with Israel’s Ministry of Defence, the Israel Defense Forces, intelligence agencies, police, or other security bodies for hosting, communications, analytics, surveillance, or other IT services. 9, 1, 10

Separately, Jewish News reported in December 2023 that Riverside built a National Testimonials Database with Wix and two other companies, coordinated with Israel Police and the National Library. It collected testimony and recorded evidence about the 7 October attacks for a potential case against Hamas. Wix’s precise technical role, contract terms, and subsequent operational use were not established by this report. 11

No public evidence identified that Wix’s commercial products have been documented as deployed for Israeli military, intelligence, or law-enforcement surveillance in Israel or the occupied Palestinian territory. 1, 10

No public evidence identified of Wix’s development, sale, licensing, or maintenance of offensive-cyber capabilities, exploit tools, or digital weapons systems. 1

AI, Algorithmic & Autonomous Systems

Wix describes Wix Harmony as an AI website builder combining human direction and artificial intelligence. 12

Wix acquired 100% of Base44, Inc. on 13 June 2025. 1 The 2025 Form 20-F describes Base44 as an AI-powered application-development platform that generates front-end and back-end elements, databases, authentication, and deployment infrastructure from natural-language prompts. 1 The filing reports acquisition-date consideration of approximately $92.158 million, superseding the earlier press estimate of approximately $80 million. 13, 1

Wix also acquired 100% of Hour One AI Ltd. on 13 May 2025 for $6.667 million cash, including $1.4 million held in escrow for 12 months. 1 Wix describes Hour One as a generative-AI media platform for scalable personalised video and interactive content. 1

Base44 and Hour One are consolidated Wix acquisitions and fall within the corporate group for follow-on research; the reviewed materials describe civilian application-development and media-generation products, respectively. 1

The July 2025 Base44 vulnerability disclosure established remediation of a reported access-control flaw, but does not establish a continuing Wiz security-vendor relationship. 3

No public evidence identified that Wix, Base44, or Hour One provided AI, machine-learning, computer-vision, decision-support, or autonomous systems to Israeli state, military, intelligence, or security bodies. 1, 8

No public evidence identified that Wix or its acquired platforms trained models on, or received access to, civilian population data, intercepted communications, or surveillance-derived data from Israel or the occupied Palestinian territory. 1, 5

No public evidence identified of autonomous target-generation, target-identification, automated threat-detection, or tracking systems supplied by Wix. 1

Technology Ecosystem & R&D Footprint

Wix’s principal facilities include its Tel Aviv headquarters, an approximately 80,000-square-metre site accommodating executive, R&D, marketing, design, business-development, HR, finance, legal, IT, customer-support, and administrative activities. 1 Wix began occupying part of the site in October 2022 and the full site in October 2023 under an initial ten-year lease with extension options. 1 Wix’s 2019 headquarters announcement identified the lessors only as entities controlled by controlling shareholders of Canada Israel Ltd. 14

As of 31 December 2025, Wix reported 4,622 employees, including 3,273 in Israel, and 2,530 employees and contractors focused on R&D. 1 Wix states that its principal R&D activity is conducted from Tel Aviv, with additional developer teams in Beer-Sheva and locations outside Israel; it reported 2025 R&D expenditure of $645.5 million. 1

Wix reported U.S. offices in New York City, Miami, and Cedar Rapids, Iowa, as well as personnel in Ireland, Lithuania, Poland, Japan, the Netherlands, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Ukraine, Brazil, and Australia. 1

The 2025 Form 20-F reports 356 issued patents, 190 pending patent applications, 28 issued design patents, and three pending design-patent applications across Wix and its subsidiaries, while stating that no individual patent or application is material to the overall business. 1

Wix reports one active Israeli Investment Authority “high wage employment” grant programme, while stating that it received no grants from any institution during 2025 and intended to apply to the Israel Innovation Authority for R&D tax-deduction approval. 1 This is evidence of an employment-incentive programme and prospective tax-deduction application, not evidence of an Israel Innovation Authority R&D grant received in 2025. 1

No public evidence identified in the reviewed materials of a Wix co-development or licensing arrangement with Technion, Hebrew University, Weizmann Institute, or another Israeli research institution. 1

No public evidence identified in the reviewed materials of investments by Wix’s current executives, directors, or disclosed major shareholders in named Israeli surveillance, SIGINT, military-technology, or weapons-technology firms. 15, 1, 16

Civil Society Scrutiny & Regulatory History

Wix is not named in the reviewed 2023 OHCHR settlement-business database update or the 2025 OHCHR settlement-database update; these are document-scoped non-listings rather than proof of no settlement nexus. 17, 18

Wix is not named in the reviewed full-text scan of UN Human Rights Council report A/HRC/59/23, whose discussion of Project Nimbus, surveillance, AI, and cloud services therefore does not itself establish a Wix relationship to those activities. 19

Wix is likewise not named in the specified Who Profits, AFSC Investigate, Don’t Buy Into Occupation, and other reviewed NGO-report materials; these are report- or database-scoped non-listings only. 20, 21, 22

The BDS Movement’s 30 November 2024 guide lists “WIX” among “grassroots organic boycott targets.” 23 The guide states that these campaigns were not initiated by the BDS Movement but are supported by it. 23 Its collective rationale does not identify which asserted ground applies specifically to Wix and does not provide a Wix-specific underlying source, donation record, contract, or company statement; the listing therefore verifies BDS’s published advocacy position, not a particular underlying allegation. 23

A separate BDS Movement divestment page names Wix among technology companies it describes as priority targets for institutional exclusion or divestment; this is an advocacy position rather than a regulatory or judicial finding, and the reviewed page does not provide a Wix-specific evidentiary citation. 24

In 2023, the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre recorded reporting that Wix dismissed Dublin customer-care team lead Courtney Carey following pro-Palestinian LinkedIn posts, and reproduced Wix President and COO Nir Zohar’s reported statement that Wix had decided to “part ways” with her. 25 This is an employment-expression matter rather than evidence of a technology provision to Israeli state or security entities; no final court or regulatory disposition was identified in the reviewed materials. 25

Wix’s 2024 ESG-report announcement contains general conflict-region language, but the reviewed materials do not identify a Wix disclosure responding specifically to the July 2024 ICJ advisory opinion or the November 2024 ICC arrest warrants. 26, 1

Post-July 2024 and post-November 2024 evidence confirms continuing Tel Aviv R&D, Amazon/Google/Fastly infrastructure relationships, and the 2025 Base44 and Hour One acquisitions. 1 This chronology does not establish settlement activity, state-security provision, or a Wix response to the ICJ advisory opinion or ICC warrants. 1

No public evidence identified in the reviewed regulatory, UN, NGO, parliamentary, and news materials of sanctions, export-control, procurement-debarment, regulator-enforcement action, or a court judgment concerning Wix technology sales or services to Israeli state-security bodies or Wix operations in settlements or the occupied territories. 17, 1, 19, 18

No public evidence identified that Wix operates an office, data centre, settlement-specific commercial infrastructure, or settlement-targeted digital services in Israeli settlements in the West Bank or East Jerusalem. 27, 28, 1
